But that initial shyness is gone, and she now urges young women engineers to speak up and be heard.

Carrie Bristoll-Groll, Owner of Stormwater Solutions Engineering, LLC, talks about her involvement with the SCE Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) affinity group.

Although she once found herself crying in the bathroom at her first job because of insensitive male colleagues, Carrie now uses her identity as a woman to stand out from the crowd.

Chris Heeter, the founder of The Wild Institute, talks about the challenges facing women leaders today. She believes that women have to stop selling themselves short and embrace their strengths, including much maligned soft-skills like relationship building.
