But an effective team should not just embrace ethnic diversity, it should also include people of different experiences, backgrounds, and specialties.

The Center for the Study of the Workplace interviewed Dr. Michael Lovell, recently selected as the Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Dr. Lovell believes that a good succession planning process starts with the identification of future leaders internally.  The in-house candidates will probably share the same values that the organization has.
